The month of May brought excitement every Thursday for 30 of our Year 8 – Year 11 pupils. We were thrilled to go to Benone beach after school, with exceptional weather conditions, where we were under the expert guidance of Dan and his team at Long Line Surf School.
On week one we were greeted by lots of strong, rolling waves and everyone got stuck in, both beginners and improvers. Over the following three weeks we had lots of fun playing beach games, as well as improving our surf skills. We are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful beach at our doorstep!
I would like to thank all our pupils who were excellent ambassadors for our school, Dan and his amazing team at Long Line as well as Mrs Miles, Mrs Sanchez and Mrs McLaughlin for helping out. We are already excited for next year!
