At SU 180 in 2024-2025 we had another brilliant year. Our pupil committee took the lead, organising weekly lunch time meetings with talks, games and praise. We had lots of fun each week – completing challenges, enthusiastically singing and doing actions to ‘My Lighthouse’ and almost perfecting the Big Bucky game by the end of the year. We looked at Big Questions about Christianity and considered what exactly the Bible is – what it is like, what it tells us and what we can use it for. Praise and testimony weeks were a real highlight too, hearing from lots of pupils and staff about how they came to know Jesus and what following him has been like in their lives. Our SU weekend was held in November at the Exodus centre in Coleraine. We had an elaborate treasure hunt, played mini golf and competed in Callum and Joel’s big quiz night. The year rounded off with our senior pupils working alongside SUNI to organise the first joint UNITE meeting in the North West, attended by 60 pupils from 5 different schools. What a fantastic year!
