Competitions:
The 2nd XI competed in the Derry and Antrim League and the Ulster McDowell Plate during the 2024–2025 season.
Favourite Match – Coleraine Grammar:
It’s always a thrill to face our Coleraine rivals, but this match stood out not just for the result, but for the sheer enjoyment and energy on the pitch. The morale and team spirit were sky-high, making it a joy to play and watch. Two evenly matched teams battled it out in a game full of twists, turns, and even a few heated moments! The team dug deep and came out on top with a nail-biting 2–1 win, thanks to first-class goals from Alison and Kate W.
The 2nd XI showed great resilience throughout the season, with mixed results in the league. Notable wins over Coleraine Grammar and Cambridge House boosted our confidence heading into the cup competitions. Although we exited the McDowell Cup in the first round, we reached the quarter-finals of the Plate, where we faced a well-drilled Methodist College, Belfast side—the eventual winners of the competition.
