The Under 13 completed a truncated season of five matches recording three wins and two defeats.
An opening 8 wicket win against Coleraine Grammar in the cup was followed by defeat by Lisneal College. This resulted in playing Foyle College in the Plate Final. Batting first Limavady only managed to score 60 runs in their allotted overs. A creditable bowling performance almost secured a victory but Foyle were victorious with a few balls to spare.
In the league programme two comprehensive victories were recorded against Ballymena Academy and unfortunately Carrick Grammar were unable to fulfil their fixtures.
Kyle Lamrock was an able and knowledgeable captain who led the team with distinction. His vice captain Adam Hinds had a good all round season as did Jack Morrow. Credit to Freddie McIllmoye who stepped up from Year 8 to keep a very tidy wicket and his fellow Year 8 player Jack O’Doherty bowled impressively. Cara Lamberton also bowled economically in all matches. Thanks to Ethan Kennedy, Bobby Buchanan, Olly Young, Catherine Kee, Maggie Burnside and Will Calderwood who all contributed throughout the season.
