On a monthly basis, the Modern Languages Club met at lunchtime to play games and enjoy an array of activities in French and Spanish. The club was organised by Ms McGrattan and assisted by Madame Miles and our French assistant Muriel.
The variety of activities that pupils enjoyed were playing multilingual interactive board games, Pictionary, Bingo, card games, and cultural sessions on Halloween, Christmas and St Valentine’s. Also, the annual game of French Boules in the summer term seemed to be a big hit!
Before Christmas, we also enjoyed the traditional Spanish custom of eating ‘Doce uvas de la suerte’ (12 grapes of luck) celebrating the New Year’s Eve countdown.
