Every Thursday afternoon from 3:30pm to 4:30pm in G7.
Our school’s Sign Language Club brings students together in a unique and inspiring way. The club provides an opportunity for students to not only to learn British Sign Language (BSL), but also to build awareness and appreciation for the Deaf community. These sessions help build confidence, friendships, and a deeper understanding of the importance of communication in all its forms.
We are incredibly fortunate to have the guidance of our staff member, Mrs. Martina Bradley. Her deep personal connection to the Deaf community through her husband Paddy, brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to our club. Her stories and insights into the world of sign language make learning not only educational, but meaningful. In addition, we have staff member, Miss Bronagh McLaughlin, who also holds a Level 6 qualification in British Sign Language.
