Year 8 Christmas Tree Project Report by Emma Cowdry 8x
What does Christmas mean to you? Jesus’ birth? Family? Helping others? Generosity? A time for giving? Well, this year the year 8s have made Christmas trees dedicated to what Christmas means to them. On Friday 26th November all of our entries were handed in to reception and displayed at the front foyer in school. All of the trees were so amazing that all 24 entries won a prize, and the top winners received an extra award. The top winners were;
1st place: Yvie Conway
2nd place: Terri Donaghy
3rd place: Scarlett Devenney
Highly commended were Katie Miller, Jacob Hung and Rory Dall.
All the trees had unique designs and it must have been hard for Mrs Madden to choose a winner as they were all so creative. They were all very interesting and festive and must have taken a lot of time and effort. I thought they were all great!
