LGS 3-1 Dalriada

Congratulations to the U15 football squad who won the Irish Society Shield at Coleraine Showgrounds today. In an extremely competitive game played in tough conditions, against a very talented and committed Dalriada side, it was goals from Cory, Michael and James M that brought the shield back to LGS. It was a fantastic team performance that reflected the squad attitude throughout the season. U15 coach Mr C O’Donnell said, “All members of the squad have fully played their part and they have been exemplary representatives of the school throughout the season.” He also thanked Dalriada, the staff of Coleraine Showgrounds, and the referee for making it such a great occasion for schoolboy football.

Principal Mrs N Madden congratulated the boys on their victory, and the teamwork shown.
