With a slow start for the girls on getting a training day to suit them, they sure put in the effort with out numbers increasing as the weeks went on. The squad made up of  Year 8 and Year 9s, Captain  Amelia Guy lead her team for their first match away to Foyle College, the girls fielded first with Year 8 Bella taking 3 wickets a piece,  Year 9 Bethany and Amelia taking 2 wickets a piece with Kate also taking 1, highlight of the day was the fantastic catch that Molly took, they then went into bat but their run chase fell short, even with Scarlett and Amelia top scoring with the bat. Girls put on a fantastic performance in extremely warm conditions. 

The girls finished their season with a defeat to Lisneal the girls were excellent on the field, superb bowling something they have been working hard on all season. A young squad with fantastic enthusiasm and determination with promising performances as they progress through the years. 

They have been an exceptional group who showed up every week with positive attitudes and enjoyed their season.
