The 2024 cricket season was a solid journey for our school team. Armed with a strong and dynamic squad, we demonstrated exceptional skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, culminating in an impressive run to the quarterfinals of the Schools Cup. Every player showcased both individual brilliance and collective resilience.

We had a nail biting win against Friends school Lisburn with Ross B sending us home with a composed innings and in the next round we had a solid team victory with every player contributing against Regent House and then in the quarterfinal we fell short against a strong Strabane Academy side who showed their strength in their bowling attack.

Beyond the individual performances and match results each player showed hard work and determination and the season was marked by significant growth and it was an honour to captain the side along with Seth G. Finally, I want to thank Mr Hughes for his role as coach and for fostering a supportive environment throughout the competition.”
