Maths Olympiad
During Maths Week Ireland, Year 9 and 10 students took part in a Maths Olympiad and the following certificates were achieved:

Year 9
Platinum Certificate- Matthew, Adam, Emma and Riley
Gold Certificate- Noah, Benjamin C, Fletcher, Paige, Benjamin G, Ewan and Johannes
Silver Certificate- Kate, Emmie, Evie, Sofie, Max, Harry, Joseph McG and Darra
Bronze Certificate- Rory, Lucas, Joseph M and Hallie

Year 10
Platinum Certificate- Emma and Rhys
Gold Certificate- Zach, Rayan, Rory, Conor, Anna, Charlie, Jacob and Faith
Silver Certificate- Jorja and Amber
Bronze Certificate- Euan, Leighton, Ellen and Luke

Junior Maths Challenge
All Year 9 students took part in a UK wide Junior Maths Challenge where pupils answer questions that test their thinking and problem-solving skills. A large number of students achieved certificates- 32 bronze, 15 silver and 7 gold.

Further congratulations go to Michael, Sofie, Aaron and Noah who qualified for the Junior Kangaroo follow-on round. In this competition Noah performed very well and achieved a Merit Award.
