Year 13 Physics students who participated in this year’s Institute for Research in Schools (IRIS) project were delighted to join a vibrant community of young minds at the IRIS conference in Manchester. The students presented their final research posters, showcasing their discoveries about Particle Physics.

The conference displayed the intellectual curiosity and passion for discovery from the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators. The students were also inspired to hear from a past pupil of LGS who was one of the key speakers on the day.
