Digital Christmas Card Competition
Every year the Art and Design Department hold a Christmas card competition for the year 9 pupils. They were asked to complete a design based on a landscape, using the skills that they had been developing in art and design.
Library Mural Painting
The library mural was first commissioned by our librarian Mrs Bryce and our principal Mrs Madden, in September 2021, to make the library a brighter and more welcoming place. The task was to create a mural design that encapsulates books that we have all read. Year 14 Robert Doherty won the prize for the best mural design in October 2021.
Religious Studies Creative Projects
In Year 8 Religious Studies students have the option of designing and making their own version of a Christmas Tree which reflects their experience of the Christmas season and in Year 10 students form groups and create a physical pillar which aims to explain how to fulfil one of the 5 pillars of the Islamic faith.

Limavady Grammar School bids a heartfelt farewell to one of its cherished staff members, Laura, who joined us in April 2021 as a senior clerical officer. This departure marks not only the end of an era but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Laura’s life as she embarks on a journey to France.

Texaco Children’s Art Competition
