Today we bade a temporary goodbye to Y14 as they left to start their study leave prior to the commencement of their A levels.
Following the customary leavers’ breakfast, everyone attended final assembly and we were delighted to share this special occasion with a number of parents.
A number of Y14 pupils participated in paying tribute to the staff or performing musical numbers and items of poetry and words of wisdom were shared by Mrs Madden, Mrs Farmer and Mr Dunwoody.
A special mention must be made of Louis Welsh-Rush who was awarded the Character and Influence Cup as voted for by his peers and we were especially pleased that Louis’s mum was there to witness the presentation of his award.
Very best wishes to all our leavers as they embark on the next phase of their academic journey. We wish you every success in your forthcoming examinations and best wishes for the future; it’s been a pleasure.
