Democracy in Action!
Democracy in Action! LGS were pleased to welcome today the Northern Ireland Assembly’s Education Service to tell Year 9 all about how our government works. Some pupils were happy to put visiting local politicians, John Dallat and Claire Sugden, on the spot with some tough questioning.

Year 10 Safety Awareness Day
Year 10 pupils took part in a Safety Awareness Day in school as part of their ongoing pastoral programme. The day consisted of team building activities; a First Aid session; and a Safety Awareness Workshop. A great day was had by all!
