Bus Routes & Passes
Limavady Grammar School pupils come from a very wide catchment area; currently pupils travel from as far away as Garvagh, Coleraine, Castlerock, Eglinton and Drumahoe. A copy of existing bus routes is included on this website.
Eligibility for transport assistance is explained in the Department of Education circular 1996/41 and in further Education Authority documents which can be found by following this link:
All enquiries and applications should be made to the Education Authority; application forms are available from the school office and online.
Buses arriving late: School procedures are in place if a bus does not always arrive by 9.00am and students will not be penalised in their attendance.
Lost bus pass: In the case of a lost bus pass pupils should contact the school office for information and applications forms.
Late buses:
A late bus departs LGS at approximately 4.45pm on four days a week (Monday to Thursday). The bus transports pupils doing extra-curricular activities to the depot to make on-going connections to various bus routes. The original bus which left LGS then continues along the Ballykelly – Greysteel –Eglinton route (could change at Translink's discretion).
