A-Level Subject Choices
The Sixth Form Curriculum is based on study of three or four examination subjects, together with Physical Education and Careers Education. Please download the Subject Choices booklet for information on all the subjects on offer
Pupils will receive careers information and guidance in school to help them make these choices, and an information evening will be held to provide parents/guardians with advice. If you require additional copies of the GCSE choices form or the Help Sheet, please follow the links below.

Students are strongly advised to check GCSE and A level entry requirements (including acceptable and preferred subjects) for all Higher Education courses.
For UK courses visit http://search.ucas.com/ and follow links to individual courses.
For courses in the Republic of Ireland visit http://www.cao.ie/courses.php and follow links to individual courses.
Some institutions (National Universities of Ireland) will not accept subjects they consider to be applied A levels such as Software Systems Development, Digital Technology, Health and Social Care etc. You are only one search or one email away from making yourself informed about course requirements. Take responsibility and research the entry requirements and email admissions tutors if you are in any doubt.
We want to encourage our current Year 12 students to continue their education here but also welcome students from other schools to join us in our caring, yet disciplined community.
Expression of Interest
If you are in Year 12 at another school but are interested in transferring to Limavady Grammar School, please follow the link below.
All pupils entering Year 13 in September are expected to meet our preferred criteria.
In addition to the school’s entry criteria, most subjects have set their own preferred minimum requirements. Please check these carefully.
