Each pupil ran a fantastic race in a highly competitive field of talented middle distance runners, many with new PB’s. Excelling on the day and gaining a place at the Ulster Schools Finals on Wednesday 7th February 24 @ Mallusk Playing fields Belfast were;
- Anna Lindsay – Minor Girls
- Anna Mc Gookin – Intermediate Girls
- Joe O’Kane – Intermediate Boys
- Jude Williams – Intermediate Boys
Once again at this meet these pupils took on some of the best talent in Ulster, each of them running in a new venue and yet another new experience.
From these championships Jude Williams finished in a top 10 placing in the Intermediate Boys category securing himself a place, not only in an Irish Schools final, on Saturday 9th March 24 in Dublin, but a place on the Northern Ireland London Mini Marathon Team as well.
Well done Jude on an extremely successful Schools Cross Country season this year – an exceptional achievement.
