LGS Cross Country 2022-2023

District Cross Country Championships
Wednesday 25th January @ University of Ulster Coleraine

The cross-country club has gone from strength to strength this season, with the experienced helping hand of Ms Skuce as lead coach every Wednesday afternoon. We have a healthy number of runners turning out every week for training rain, hail or shine!

With 45 competitors entered into the District Schools’ Cross championships in various distances from Year 8–11, we had a superb representation from LGS at this competition. Conditions for this event were very favourable on this occasion, with all competitors pleased to be running on dry pitches and not needing a dry robe afterwards!
