The U12 cricket team was captained by Jacob Blair, with a great turn out to training each week after their Easter Break the team showed up every week full of enthusiasm to be ready for what was to be a great season of cricket for them. Starting off with a friendly against Ballymena with some of the squad playing their first game of cricket, starting with Milo taking his first wicket on his first ever over. Great team effort to secure the win, Great to see their confidence sore as they headed off to Belfast to compete against Inch Marlo. After winning the toss putting Inch Marlo out to bat wickets fell fast with the help Jacob, Tom and Charlie. Tom and Charlie then opened the batting and managed to chase the score down within their 4th over, great opportunity for everyone on the fielding front. 

Onto the semifinal of the Ferris Cup Jacob lead his team to Grosvenor for what turned out to be an extremely close match, ground fielding from all the team was definitely of a high class standard something they had been working on during practices, Tom, Dara and Charlie taking 2 wickets a piece securing them with another great win with 4 overs to spare.

On the road again to Lisneal in very hot conditions to play Wesley Ferris Cup with some patience and some beautiful shots fromJacob and Toms partnership and tidy bowling from Charlie and Dara won them the match before the end of the overs.

Over all these pupils were a credit to their performances and their attitude on the field.
