Every year the Art and Design Department hold a Christmas card competition for the year 9 pupils. They were asked to complete a design based on a landscape, using the skills that they had been developing in art and design. As every year the pupils could not wait to get started. Bursting with excitement the pupils started with their sketch and explored a variety of watercolour techniques. After the paint had dried Mrs Madden was then given the challenge to select the final winners. This proved to be quite difficult as all the entries were fantastic!
